Dream Team Master - Barbara Thiel
Hi, my name
is Barbara Thiel. I was born and raised in Poland. Several
years ago, at the age of 23, I left Poland and emigrated
to Canada, where I began a new life, and where I still live
today. It wasn’t easy to overcome my first years in
a new country. I didn’t know English and I had no
job or family here in Canada to help me. I have since those
first years learned English, finished college and started
a family. Everything was going very well for me. Unfortunately,
I became a single mother. I thought that my whole life was
going to crash. Handling a full-time job and raising a young
child become more difficult that I expected. It made me
review my life situation and I had to make drastic changes….again.
I decided to stay home and work for myself. I had no idea
what I was getting into. I had never had a desire to be
in a home-based business. I just wanted to work from home
and supply a roof over our heads for both my son and me.
On April 1, 2004, I launched a home-based business venture.
After 3 ½ months, I realized I was going nowhere
with my business. Yet, at the same time, I also knew that
there was no place for me in “traditional work”.
One day I received a phone call from a lady from Florida,
total stranger, and I was asked how my business was performing
and if I wanted to learn how to explode it in a professional
way. Finally I was invited to the briefing, similar to what
you just heard.
Was I ever skeptical! “What do they want from me
this time… more money?” was what was going through
my mind.
But…. I listened to it anyway.
The information given on
the call triggered my interest as the briefing when
on. They were talking about exactly what I was going
thru, big failure. Than the guarantee for all of the
training levels which they offered made me pay attention
what they were saying even more. Instantly I knew what
I was given was, “peace-of-mind” that this
time I couldn’t lose. If I didn’t achieve
what they promised, I would get my money back. I signed
up on July 13, 2004. At that time, I didn’t know
how and when I was going to see any profit; I followed
Terry and Gino instructions blindly.
What made
me keep going and doing what I was doing –- was my
BIG WHY. I want to be able to provide a comfortable life
for both of us, without being trapped into early dropping
off my son and late picking him up from day care; plus,
the slow drive home in rush hour. Also important to me is
spending more time with my son, building memories of my
young son’s childhood. I want my later golden years
to be free of regrets – without wondering why I didn’t
spend more time with my family. As a single mother, I am
passionate about showing others how to also be successful
working a business from home.
Now, 2 ½ years later, I’m still here, and
I was also promoted to the highest level of leadership within
our organization – Certified Master of Marketing!
